THE COMPETITIONS
Caratella Cup
Is the main event that players strive to win and have their name on. The trophy was named by the Committee after the founder of the Society in 2001.
The Bevans Team Trophy
Is the team event where the best stableford scores are counted at every event towards end of year scores. Teams are randomly drawn by the Committee. The number of players in each team is determined the number of members in that year and thus also determines the format. This trophy was donated by the Bevan family.
Jenkins Trophy
Is the Par 3 and Par 5's event where stableford scores from all the par 3's and par 5's from each course are added and averaged against total shots allocated. The trophy was donated by the Jenkins family.
Matchplay Trophy
This event is a randomly drawn straight forward knockout event using full handicap difference and was bought by the Committee.
MscShanes' Most Improved Trophy
The McShane's most improved trophy is awarded to the most improved player over the year and is kindly donated by the McShane family.
Pairs Trophy
Pairs are randomly drawn and the best combined stableford scores where the best 5 from 8 scores count towards the final scores.
